Paid-hour basis
Monthly pay converts to hourly pay by dividing by the paid hours actually used. A monthly salary of 3,000,000 becomes 18,750 at 160 hours, but about 14,354 at 209 hours, so the denominator matters as much as the salary figure.

SALARY GUIDE
Monthly pay converts to hourly pay by dividing by the paid hours actually used. A monthly salary of 3,000,000 becomes 18,750 at 160 hours, but about 14,354 at 209 hours, so the denominator matters as much as the salary figure.
Hourly-to-daily pay is hourly rate multiplied by paid hours per day. Eight hours is only an editable preset; shift workers and part-time workers should use the paid hours that match their arrangement.
Workdays per month and paid hours per month are not always the same concept. If your contract states monthly paid hours, using that figure directly usually gives a more meaningful comparison than relying only on workdays.
Annual salary divided by 12 is useful for a quick monthly comparison, but bonuses, incentives and severance can be included differently across employers. Compare what is included, not only the headline annual number.
This tool converts gross nominal pay units. Taxes, social insurance, tax-free allowances and deductions are not included, so the result should not be treated as take-home pay.
A conversion does not determine legal or contractual entitlement. Minimum-wage compliance, overtime, night or holiday premiums, paid leave and severance should be checked against the applicable contract and rules.
