Real-time timing rules
Timers and stopwatches are calculated from actual elapsed time instead of display refresh counts.Segment and total timing together
Each Lap is time since the previous mark while Total remains the full elapsed stopwatch time.

Important notes
- Browser background and screen-lock policies can delay screen updates or audible alerts.
- Audio alerts are prepared only after a user starts timing because browsers restrict autoplay.
- The first release supports countdowns up to 24:59:59, up to 99 repeat rounds, and up to 1,000 laps.
- Dedicated timing hardware may be more appropriate for professional long-duration measurement.

Lap is the segment since the previous mark; Total is elapsed time since the stopwatch started.

It alternates Work and Rest and completes after the requested number of rounds.
04Can the completion sound fail?+
Browser policy or device state may restrict audio, so a visual completed state is always shown as well.
05Can I run multiple timers at once?+
Not in the first release. One countdown or repeat timer runs at a time.
